Arrival 2.0

Arrival 2.0 continues the exploration begun in Arrival, moving beyond the moment of impact to ask: What happens afterwards?

The energy has not disappeared. It has been absorbed, transformed and redistributed. New forms emerge from the movement, suggesting that transformation is not a single event but an ongoing process.

The circular format reinforces this idea. There is no obvious beginning or final destination. Movement continues, systems change, and one transformation becomes the starting point for another.

The work is inspired by the way our own lives evolve. We rarely return to who we were before a significant experience. Instead, we carry it forward and allow it to become part of what comes next.

As a sculptural painting, Arrival 2.0 deliberately moves beyond the normal flatness of painting. Embossed layers, raised forms and textured relief create physical depth, allowing light and shadow to continuously reveal different aspects of the work.

I hope Arrival 2.0 creates a feeling of continuity, transformation and renewal, a reminder that an ending can become another beginning.

The artwork is ready to be mounted on the wall, allowing the sculptural relief to extend visually and physically into the surrounding space.

The arrival is never really the end. It is simply the next version of the journey.
