The Beginning

The Beginning explores the first moment of creation, not as a scientific event, but as a metaphor for the emergence of existence itself.

The work imagines energy, matter and movement coming together to create something that did not exist before. Its circular composition suggests an origin without a fixed point, where everything emerges from a single force and expands into possibility.

I was inspired by the idea that every beginning contains the potential for an entire universe. A thought, a relationship, a decision or a new direction can begin almost imperceptibly and grow into something much larger.

The Beginning is a sculptural painting created through embossed layers and raised forms that extend beyond the traditional flat surface of a painting. This physical relief gives the work depth and allows light and shadow to become part of the composition.

I hope the viewer feels wonder, possibility and openness, the sensation of standing at the threshold of something yet to be defined.
