Destination

Destination explores movement with purpose, the journey toward something that cannot yet be fully seen.

A powerful body moves through space, surrounded by traces of energy and resistance. The forms suggest acceleration, turbulence and the forces encountered along a journey.

The work is inspired by a simple human question: What happens when we know where we want to go, but the path is never entirely clear?

A journey is rarely linear. Forces can slow us down, redirect us and challenge our sense of direction. Yet movement itself becomes part of our transformation.

Created as a sculptural painting, Destination moves beyond the flatness of conventional painting through embossed surfaces, raised forms and layered textures. The relief creates changing shadows and highlights, giving the work a sense of movement even when viewed at rest.

I hope Destination encourages viewers to think about their own journey, not only where they are going, but who they become along the way.

The artwork is ready to be mounted on the wall and experienced as both a painting and a sculptural object.
